Monday 16 August 2010 - Opening of the first access to the beta version 0.4

Many features aren’t active yet, some are not even visible… Each hour of the day has its update. We play in mode “work in progress”, but we have to open, to share, to listen, and to move forward…

So here is what you can find in the first beta version, which we continue to optimize:

• Around 350 games on 7 platforms (consoles and pc)
• The front public pages (platform/game/mode/zone/ranking/profile)
• The registration process
• Twitter & Facebook connect
• Interactions with Google Map
• The management of his profiles, friends, games
• Achievements of the first awards (badges)
• The 1v1 modes, the multiplayer’s modes Free & Race (up to 4 players)
• The management of the challenges (invitations/reporting)
• The experience and Fairplay gauges
• The zones’ creation & management
• The rankings of the zones (ladders)
• The general rankings by city/department/district/country

Here is what you won’t find in the beta but on what we are working:

• The homepage
• The management of friends groups
• Achievements of the complex awards (badges)
• The Average Level gauge
• The web component for communication between members (chat/messaging)
• The forums of the zones
• The tournaments (creation, management, forums…)
• The 2v2 mode and the Team mode
• The Teams
• The mobile and touch access
• The « geo-check » real features (not like Foursquare/Gowalla ; )
• The TV widget
• The Xbox Live & PSN challenges support
• The new platforms (Onlive, 3DS…)
• The premium access
• The localization (notably in English)
• The professional dashboard

At this stage, we need to optimize with your help the natural understanding of the browsing between pages: from the maps to profiles, from your admin to the games and rankings pages… We need your eyes also to correct any mistakes, report bugs.
